For years, I felt like every business opportunity I tried ended in disappointment. I would start something with confidence, invest my savings and put in long hours, only to watch the business struggle or eventually collapse.
At some point, I began wondering whether I was really meant to succeed in business.
My name is Kevin, an entrepreneur from Eldoret, Kenya, and my journey has not been easy. I had always dreamed of building a successful business that could support me and my family. I believed that with hard work, patience and the right decisions, success would eventually come.
My first business started with great excitement. I had carefully planned what I wanted to do and believed customers would quickly embrace it. Unfortunately, things did not happen as I expected. Customers were fewer than I had hoped for, and the business struggled to generate enough money.
I continued putting money into the business because I did not want to give up easily. I tried different ways of attracting customers and reducing expenses, but the situation did not improve enough. Eventually, I was forced to close the business.
Although I was disappointed, I refused to believe that it was the end of my entrepreneurial journey. I started another business, convinced that the lessons from my first experience would help me do better.
Sadly, the second opportunity also failed to give me the results I wanted. Expenses continued rising while income remained low. After months of trying to keep things going, I suffered another painful loss.
I tried several other business ideas after that. Some survived for a short time, while others ended almost immediately. Each failure affected my confidence and made me increasingly afraid of starting something new.
There were moments when I looked at other entrepreneurs around me and wondered why their businesses seemed to be moving forward while mine kept facing setbacks. I knew I was working hard, but the results were not matching my efforts.
Eventually, I began keeping my struggles to myself. I did not want people to think that I had failed again. Deep inside, however, I was becoming tired and losing hope that I would ever build the business I had always dreamed about.
One day, I shared my frustrations with a friend. I explained how I had tried different opportunities, invested money and worked hard, only to experience one disappointment after another. My friend told me about. To read more, tap herew
