Expectations are rising among the people as Arua City, the main urban center in North-western Uganda, gears up to host the crusade by an Israeli evangelist and preacher, Rabbi K. A. Schneider.
On Wednesday, a three-day believers’ conference for the born-again pastors’ ahead of the crusade came to an end at the Agape Christian Fellowship in Arua.

It was part of the preparatory activities to unite believers, equip mobilization teams, strengthen prayer and evangelism and prepare churches and communities for the event that will take place in seven weeks’ time.
The West Nile golf grounds is the venue for the Arua Pentecostal Pastors’ Association (APPA) organized crusade that runs from December 3rd to December 6th, 2026.

Gracing the pre-crusade conference were the Rabbi’s advance team led by Pastor Michael Hardy who sounded the trumpet as a confirmation signal that the Rabbi Schneider is coming.

Accompanying the team was Bishop James Akale Ekwang who promised a crusade like no other the West Nile has witnessed, being the first by a Rabbi who is also a Jew.

But the conference also aimed at equipping the church officials to provide efficient leadership to advance evangelization in the region.
Pastor Robert Rwomushana of the Miracle Center in Masindi rallied the pastors to serve the kingdom of Christ effectively and excellently, asserting that through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known.
He challenged the church leaders to serve the bigger purpose and kick what he called the two demons – poverty and disunity – out of the Pentecostal churches.

“When you have the anointing, you cannot die in the fire,” he said emphatically, adding: “God is the creator of situations for revelation.”
Rwomushana advised the Pentecostal church leaders to hold each other’s hand in serving the lord and growing the followers rather than competing with each other.

At the conclusion of the conference, Bishop David Emezu of the Agape ministries of Christ international told the participants to move out and comb the region to mobilise the people to attend the crusade.
It was a statement of determination to push through the preparation for the crusade that promises a platform for deeper discovery of the Jewish background of Christianity and saving of more people.
