A man from Eldoret, Kenya, has shared a shocking experience he had after inviting his 27-year-old cousin to stay with him while he searched for work.
He explained that his cousin was hardworking but had never had a steady occupation, and he wanted to give him a chance to settle in and find something meaningful to do.
He said that he invited his cousin to live at his home in Kahoya, where he and his wife had been staying for the past two months. While he was at work, his cousin spent a lot of time with his wife, and to his surprise, they got along very well.
He added that they often did household chores together, including washing dishes and clothes, and had become good friends, which made him happy because he had only intended to help his cousin.
The man reported that one night, after supper, he went to bed expecting both his wife and cousin to finish cleaning and go to their rooms. However, when he woke around 2 AM, he noticed his wife was not in bed. Alarmed, he said he jumped out to look for her.
He explained that he first checked the kitchen, thinking they might still be working on the chores, but neither was there.
