Salongo, a businessman from Kampala, has shared how he started his business with only 50,000 shillings and gradually worked to turn it into a source of income. He said his journey has involved challenges, mistakes, disappointments and important lessons that changed the way he viewed business.
He explained that when he started, his capital was extremely small, forcing him to carefully consider how every shilling was spent. He said losing even a small amount of money could affect the entire business, so he chose to begin with simple products that he believed people around him needed.
