I’m Looking For UGX 150 Billion To Finish The Pentagon Church – Pastor Bujjingo Appeals To Ugandans

Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo has appealed to Ugandans and well-wishers to support the completion of his ambitious Pentagon Church project, saying the construction requires about UGX 150 billion.

The lead pastor of House of Prayer Ministries revealed that the cost of the project has increased due to rising construction expenses and changes in the economy.

Bujjingo explained that when the project was first planned in 2019, the estimated cost was about UGX 100 billion.

However, he said the budget has since increased to around UGX 120 billion because of the changing prices of construction materials and other expenses.

The pastor said the church is now seeking more funds to ensure that the construction of the massive worship facility is completed.

He also mentioned that the project requires about 15 million US dollars to move forward.

The Pentagon Church project has been in development for several years, with Pastor Bujjingo repeatedly asking his followers and supporters to contribute towards its completion.

According to the pastor, the project is expected to become one of the largest church facilities in Uganda once completed.

He said the vision behind the church is to create a place that can accommodate many worshippers and support different ministry activities.

However, the project has faced financial challenges that have delayed the start of major construction works.

In 2025, Bujjingo revealed that construction had been postponed after consultations showed that the money collected was not enough to begin the project.

He explained that the funds raised at the time were less than a tenth of the required amount.

The pastor said the church leadership decided to wait until enough resources were available before starting full construction.

Despite the delays, Bujjingo maintained that the Pentagon Church remains a priority for House of Prayer Ministries.

He encouraged believers and supporters to continue contributing towards the fulfilment of the project.

The pastor said the increasing cost should not stop the vision of building the church.

He believes that with support from Ugandans and other well-wishers, the required funds can be raised.

The project has attracted public attention because of its large size and the amount of money required for completion.

Supporters of the church have continued expressing confidence that the project will eventually be completed.

Bujjingo said construction will resume once sufficient funds have been secured to meet the revised budget.

He continues calling on those willing to support the project to join efforts in making the Pentagon Church dream a reality.
