Tiyo reminded the people that President Yoweri Museveni has been showing at his rallies, a woman from Lango who received the sh1m under PDM.

The said woman bought goats at sh600,000 and spent rest of the money on poultry and tomato farming. That investment has propelled her into someone who is relatively self-sufficient.

“What is important is there must be no corruption in the implementation of PDM and let the funds be given to people selected from all the cells,” Tiyo emphasized.

Also the people informed Eng Tiyo that they already have savings groups in all the villages and because of this, Eng Tiyo pledged to support those existing savings and loan groups.

He said if he gives support to any existing group that will help the people achieve their objectives and aspirations to pay school fees among others.

However Tiyo dismissed as counterproductive, attempts by some people to form new groups under election pressure saying such a duplicity is simply a campaign gimmick.
