Nevertheless, certain things continued to trouble me. On several occasions, I felt that my wife was keeping important details from me, although I could not establish exactly what was happening or explain why I had become suspicious.
Eventually, I started losing my peace of mind. I desperately wanted to find out whether my concerns were genuine, but I was equally afraid of discovering the truth if it meant putting an end to the marriage I had worked so hard to build.
