My name is Isaac, and I come from Jinja, Uganda. There was a time when I believed my business was going to become my biggest success story. I had invested most of my savings into it and worked hard every day to make it grow. Unfortunately, things eventually took a completely different direction.
When I started the business, customers were coming regularly and I was making reasonable profits. I became confident and decided to increase my investment because I believed the business had a bright future.
However, the situation gradually changed. Sales started falling, some of my stock remained unsold and expenses continued increasing. I began using my savings to keep the business running.
