For months, I watched my business go through the most difficult period I had ever experienced. I am a trader from Gulu, Uganda, and there was a point when I seriously feared that I would be forced to shut down because customers had almost completely stopped coming.
When I opened the business, customers came regularly and I was able to make sales almost every day. I could meet my daily expenses, take care of my bills and still have some money left to put back into the business.
However, things slowly began to change. The number of customers visiting my business dropped, and there were days when I spent several hours waiting without making even one sale.
