A Kenyan man has advised the public to rethink the way they handle financial losses in relationships, saying that relying on debt collectors or even the police rarely brings results.
He explained that many people fall victim to what he called “being robbed by love,” a situation where someone they trust completely ends up wiping out their finances.
He said that most such stories begin the same way: two people meet, fall deeply in love, and quickly become inseparable. According to him, police involvement can be expensive, unpredictable, and sometimes unhelpful, adding that even when funds are recovered, victims are never fully sure where the money ends up.
He went on to share the experience of his friend Andrew, who faced a similar situation after his partner disappeared with a large sum of his savings. Andrew reportedly tried police assistance, debt collectors, and even family mediators, but nothing worked. The man said Andrew later confided that the only real breakthrough came when he took an.To read more, tap herew.
