A Kampala woman has opened up about how she eventually found a man who was serious about building a future with her after enduring years of heartbreak, disappointment and relationships that failed to lead to marriage.
Sarah, a Kampala resident, said there was a time when she was slowly losing hope of ever meeting a man who genuinely wanted to settle down and build a lasting relationship with her.
She explained that whenever she entered a new relationship, she would feel excited and hopeful, believing she had finally met the right person. Sadly, most of those relationships ended before they could grow into something serious and meaningful.
Some men initially appeared loving and committed during the first few weeks of dating, but their behaviour would eventually change. Others would suddenly stop communicating with her without offering any clear explanation.
Sarah said the repeated heartbreaks gradually affected her confidence. As she watched her friends get married and establish families, she often found herself wondering why her own relationships never seemed to work out.
She tried taking breaks between relationships, hoping that giving herself time would help her make better choices and meet someone different. Despite her efforts, she continued facing disappointments that left her emotionally drained.
